Brighton & Hove
Shopping & Eating Out Guide 2011

Dear Brighton trader

It’s that time again! In actual fact it’s a little earlier than usual so we can ensure that everyone that WANTS to be involved with this ever popular annual publication CAN be! This year we are also giving the option of paying by Direct Debit so it’s even easier to participate.

We are publishing 100,000 copies as usual, distributed as follows:

  • Hotels in the city
  • Visitor Information Centre in Brighton & throughout the South East
  • Brighton’s new Retail Festival in Unique Brighton, Spring Food Fair and the September World Food Market on Hove Lawns
  • Conferences held at the Brighton Centre
  • Top estate agents
  • Local retail outlets
  • Plus 15,000 sent to selected postcodes within 25 miles of the city for Christmas
The Guide is now in its 11th year and it is firmly established as the leader in its field. The full colour high quality publication, with watercolour illustrations of each shop or restaurant, ensures its prominence against the competition. It lasts for a full year and is kept by many visitors as a souvenir of their stay in Brighton.

The easy-to-read map is a tremendous boon to visitors and even local people who often find The Lanes confusing.

Each business that advertises will be categorised and listed alphabetically in an index at the back of the Guide. And new advertisers will be given the framed original watercolour painting of their shop to keep.
