This is the official web site of the Business Forum and the Economic Partnership in Brighton & Hove
The Business Forum strives to make the city a better place to live, work and visit. It is entirely self sufficient in terms of revenue and does not receive any grant funding from any source.
Projects include the multi-award winning Brighton & Hove Business Crime Reduction Partnership [BCRP] with over 460 members operating in both the day-time and night-time economy; it is the largest in the UK by membership. The Business Forum also outsources its administrative services to other BCRPs around the country.
The Business Forum also established Brighton's first Business Improvement District [BID] and successfully led it to renewal in April 2011. It continues to administer the BID, which was renewed for a second time in 2016, and provides a base for the BID staff. The renewed Brighton BID will generate about £1.82m over five years to provide additional services to businesses in the BID area.
The Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership [BHEP] works with other stakeholders to devise the economic strategy for the city. It works with other partners to input into the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership [LEP] for the sub region.
Details of key project areas for the BHBF and BHEP are shown on the left hand side of this homepage and latest news is shown on the right hand side. All documents and stories are archived in the Knowledge Base which can be searched by subject or keyword.
