Help change how local regulation is delivered and received
Better Business for All (BBfA) is a programme that brings together businesses and regulators - often for the first time - to consider and change how local regulation is delivered and received. It involves the creation of groups in specific areas that then shape the way support is provided to businesses by local regulators.
The Sussex Chamber of Commerce, local authorities, the Local Enterprise Partnership (both Coast 2 Capital and Business East Sussex) and local authority regulatory services - including Planning, Fire Safety, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Environmental Protection, Trading Standards, Waste, Care Quality Commission, and Licensing can provide practical advice and tips for business. We held our first event in Horsham last year. The video is included in the event link above. We will hold these events throughout Sussex over the coming year to provide business with updates, give them the opportunity to speak to local authorities and regulatory services. So the next event is 17
th April in Eastbourne. There will be presentation updates as well as exhibitors to cover the following subjects:-
Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)
Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
Health & Safety
Resilience and Risk Assessments
The event is £15 + Vat for all business, (members and non-members).
The event applies to all businesses and sectors.
