A new programme of business support has been announced for 2016
Brighton Chamber is pleased to announce that they have successfully bid to deliver a new Ride the Wave business support programme. Funded and led by Brighton & Hove City Council, Ride the Wave will deliver subsidised training and mentoring to entrepreneurs in the city and will formally launch in late April.
Brighton Chamber director, Sarah Springford said on winning the contract ‘It’s good news for Brighton businesses, that the Council are able to support the economy in this way. Over 150 businesses will benefit, and the programme will help them to grow and to create new jobs. We now have a generation of businesses that have benefited from the Ride the Wave programme and who are becoming established: accessing new initiatives like Entrepreneurial Spark and government funded support like the UKTI’
Nick Hibberd, Acting Executive Director for Environment Development & Housing at Brighton & Hove City Council, said “Following a competitive bidding process we have appointed the Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce to deliver an exciting new series of business support in the city. The new series will offer a more intensive range of support to help sustain and grow our vibrant business base and local economy”
