The latest Travel Trends report from 2013 from the Office for National Statistics shows Brighton ranking with the big boys and holding the number 1 spot for seaside locations.
Brighton was beaten only by Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Bristol and Oxford; all much bigger players with a lot more cash to spend.
Another fine example of Brighton punching way above its purse.
While business visits to the UK have a way to go to reach their 2007 peak, holiday visits have already comfortably surpassed the level seen before the recession.
