On Tuesday 16th April at 7.30am, local employers in the hospitality industry will be able to get insights into how apprenticeships can support their business, increase productivity and up-skill existing members of staff while providing opportunities for young people.
The event, hosted by City College Brighton and Hove at The Gallery restaurant on Whitecross Street, will include a free full English breakfast. Guest speakers will include key personnel from Terre à Terre, Brighton Restaurant Association, Havana Spoon and Hotel Seattle. There will also be the opportunity to network and find out more about the new Apprenticeship Grant for Employers.
Terre à Terre’s co-owner Philip Taylor said, “This event provides a great opportunity for local employers to find out more about what apprenticeships can bring to their business”
“Engaging in apprenticeships is rewarding on many levels. It’s a great way to train from scratch, fight youth unemployment, feed knowledge and skills to a city you will be recruiting from for years to come and it’s wonderful to see your team learn to train and pass on their unique skills.”
