The City Council is developing a Seafront Strategy from Hove Lagoon to Saltdean (approximately 13km in length) and would like your views to help inform priorities for improvements and the development of the seafront.
The Seafront is important to the local economy and is an important focal point in the city, attracting both residents and visitors in large numbers. A strategy will enable the council to direct resources to priority areas which are in need of investment and/ or would benefit from environmental improvements.
A series of staffed exhibitions will be held at four different venues along the seafront for people to ask questions and make comments:
- Monday 18th February. King Alfred Leisure Centre Foyer (10am to 4pm)
- Friday 22nd February. Saltdean Library (10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm).
- Wednesday 27th February. Yellow Wave Cafe, Maderia Drive (10am to 4pm)
- Saturday 2nd March. Fishing Museum. Kings Rd Arches (10am to 4pm)
Alternatively, you may wish to complete the on-line survey.
A copy of the full draft Seafront Strategy is also available on the same link if you would like to comment on the document as a whole.
