The presentation of awards is at 7pm at Sussex Cricket ground in Hove .

Among the hotly contested category is the Hove Hero; the three nominations which have been shortlisted are:

• The postman who delivers to shops in George Street every day – Chris Stott
• The team who look after the street cleaning in central Hove – Lucasz Skwia, Lewis Smith, Szolt Deak, Jeff Newington and Mike Batey
• Eric de Chalon from Bungard & Sons.

Roger French, organiser of the At Your Service Awards said “It’s great to see recognition of some great service in Hove and there’s excitement building to see who the winners will be”.
