Economic Partnership member and Chief Executive of the regional Chamber of Commerce has left the organisation which is undergoing a review of its operations.
Mark Froud led the organisation for ten years joining in 1996 and working his way up to Chief Executive in 2002. The organisation held the substantial publicly funded Business Link business support contract for many years but was obliged to review its business model with the loss of the contract when the new coalition government came to power.
A Sussex Enterprise spokesperson said, “Sussex Enterprise has, over the last few months, undertaken an extensive review of all operations and concluded that major changes are needed to re-emphasise and expand our core membership services”
“Mark Froud who led the organisation for many years will be moving on to new challenges and we wish him well”
