Brighton & Hove City Council‘s Strategic Director of Resources Charlie Stewart is leaving to take up a new role as Assistant Chief Executive at Stoke on Trent City Council.
Charlie Stewart said; “I am leaving to take up an exciting role, but will be sorry to say goodbye to the many friends I have made across the council and city. However I know my colleagues will work hard to ensure that our goals and aspirations for the city will continue.”
Brighton & Hove City Council Chief Executive John Barradell said; “This is a rare opportunity and well deserved for Charlie. As Strategic Director of Resources Charlie has been a great driver of positive, cost effective changes from championing new ways of working to delivering effective customer service structures. We wish him well in his new job.”
Cabinet member for finance and central services, Councillor Jason Kitcat said; “Charlie has made a big contribution to moving the council forward and delivering more efficient services and we wish him all the best in his new role.”
