Summer is almost here and to celebrate, Brighton's Business Improvement District [BID] will be awash with bunting, banners and hanging baskets in time for the Festival season.
But getting the city dressed for summer is not the only project the BID had been busy with recently.
The BID joined forces with the Chamber of Commerce to run a 'Business Brunch' in partnership with world renowned vegetarian restaurant Terre a Terre on the 4th May. (booking details available here).
It also teamed up with the Business Forum's award winning Business Crime Reduction Partnership [BCRP] to offer businesses free membership which includs a Smartphone App which allows members to see photos of local criminals while on the move. A great tool to help fight crime locally.
As well as that the BID has negotiated a deal for BID businesses to advertise in Sussex Style magazine with 25% off the rate card; data on the latest city centre vacancy rates; information about how BID businesses can cut their utility bills and details on how to get on-line with the BID and tweet your message out to over 1,300 twitter followers and 1,500 e-mail subscribers.
The newsletters have now been hand delivered to all 517 BID businesses, to download an e-version, just click on this link.
