Sussex Police April news

The Brighton & Hove division of Sussex Police has published its April newsletter showing a mixed picture of crime in the city with overall crime decreasing but with some worrying trends on the increase.

Over the last year, there were 300 fewer victims of assault and 230 fewer people have had their homes burgled.

Although overall crime continues to fall there has been a rise in theft in the city centre; this is now a priority for the next performance year which started on April 1st.
