Drought advice for businesses
Brighton & Hove City Council will host a public meeting on May 3rd to offer advice to businesses that may be affected by the water shortage and restrictions on water use imposed by Southern Water.
At this early stage in the drought, restrictions are more of an issue for residents but it is possible that a continuation could see more draconian measures even for companies that rely on a water supply to conduct their business. This is especially the case if the drought continues into a second year. The advice session will include presentations from Southern Water and the Met Office and Environment Agency and there will be time for questions and answers. The event will run from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. in Hove Town Hall in Norton Road, Hove and businesses interesting in attending should email epu@brighton-hove.gov.uk
