Vantage Point in New England Street and the adjacent Circus Parade shopping precinct are for sale by auction to be held on 9th May.
The 0.36 hectare site comprises 3,472 sq metres of office space [with a car park for 80 cars], 8 flats and 14 retail outlets.
Both the office complex and the shops are partly vacant. It is owned by Tesco which bought it, and a number of other freeholds and leaseholds in the area, via St James's Investments when they had plans for a new supermarket & department store to serve the London Road area.
The plans were defeated by opposition from residents and the Green Party before any planning application was submitted.
The guide price for the site is a figure in excess of £2.5m
