The City Council’s Environmental Health Service is carrying out a consultation with business to obtain feedback on its health and safety service plan for the year ahead.
The service plan details the work of the Environmental Health team over the next year including its resourcing and outcomes. The aim of service plan is to make workplaces safer for workers, customers and visitors to the city. The plan also details the way in which the team will support business to help them comply with their health and safety obligations.
The team is consulting on its contents to ensure that they are achieving the right balance between support, help advice, education and enforcement.
