Now that the Christmas season has come to an end there is still a lot going on in the Brighton Business Improvement District [BID] . . . . after all, the BID's not just about Christmas Lights.
Since the last newsletter in October the BID has been really busy.
A contract has just been awarded to supply hanging baskets and floral displays throughout the BID area this summer; the BID security patrols have been rebranded, the BID has officially launched a new website and thousands of pounds worth of savings have been made by BID businesses using the procurement service.
Some great deals have been neotiated for BID members with NCP car parks and City College, and the BID has partnered up with the Chamber of Commerce to offer a free business breakfast for new members.
Businessescan also get involved in the upcoming Living Wage debate [see events], along with details on how to get your views across about the proposed hike in business parking charges.
The BID is also on twitter now: https://twitter.com/#!/Brillbrighton
