The local authority has created an interactive budget simulator to let people try their hand at balancing the council's £362m discretionary spend budget for services.
The interactive budget simulator gives you the chance to tell the Council how you’d like spending prioritised across seven themes. You can increase, decrease or make no changes to each service.
It’ll also work on your Smartphone or you can access the survey from any of the city's libraries where volunteers will be on hand to help.
You can also join in the discussion on Twitter by using the #bhbudget hashtag.
So far from responses received:
- Home Care is the spending area which most respondents have decided to increase.
- Parking Services is the spending area which most respondents have decided to decrease.
