Giant high-tech business park for Gatwick.
A multi-million pound science park will take up to 20 years to complete on land adjacent to the Gatwick airport slip road just off the M23.
The giant 80 hectare site is currently open farmland to the west of the airport access road but the consortium Gatwick Green, including Brighton University, Central Sussex College and Gatwick Airport, has announced plans to develop a science, innovation and technology park although work in not expected to commence for at least 5 years. The developers hope to develop a strategic location for international knowledge-based business particularly in the field of health related sciences and possibly including spin-off companies from the University.
