Tourism South East’s (TSE) 2011 Beautiful South Awards for Excellence are now open and businesses are invited to enter by the deadline of midnight on 21 August.
The awards celebrate excellence in tourism across the South East and aim to promote and reward leading businesses and individuals in the tourism industry, whatever their sector and size. They are free to enter for TSE members and non-members will be charged a £50 temporary membership fee to include entry to the awards. Hard fought categories include
- Best Large Hotel of the Year,
- Outstanding Customer Service of the Year
- Best Bed & Breakfast of the Year.
John Williams, Chairman of Tourism South East explained, ‘“I am delighted that, in spite of all the budget pressures, we have been able to restore the Beautiful South Awards to our calendar. This is one of my favourite events of the year when we celebrate the best of the best. More importantly, it provides a fantastic showcase and extensive publicity for our award-winners and through them, for the South East itself.”
Tourism awards have proven their worth in recent years, giving businesses the chance not only to showcase their quality, but also to build morale amongst staff and gain recognition as ‘tourism’s best’. The entry and judging process has also been recognised by business as an important tool in checking on the development of the business.
Full details of the tourism awards, along with details of how to enter and downloadable entry forms can be found at www.beautifulsouthawards.co.uk.
