On Thursday 5 August the Tourism Alliance (TA) will launch its Kite Mark and new consumer-facing website. It is an invitation only event at Brighton Ballroom, St Georges Road.
Apart from TA members attendees will include members of the press and invited representatives from key service agencies including Brighton & Hove City Council.
The Brighton & Hove Tourism Alliance is a group of like-minded businesses, with a shared passion for the City, working in partnership to improve the quality of the Brighton & Hove experience for visitors and locals alike.
The membership ranges from small unique shops, large & boutique hotels, internationally recognised and small local eateries to large services providers within tourism and travel.
The new Kite Mark is a gold standard for visitor-facing businesses in the city. It strives to raise the bar by guaranteeing high standards and accountability across the sector. The Kite Mark can be applied to accommodation, food & drink, entertainment & attractions, and retail.
The standard has been set and monitored by the active membership of the Tourism Alliance who share goals and a common vision of the visitor economy within the city. It is very much customer driven and based on ongoing feedback from the touring public.
