Parts of Western Road, New Road and Kensington Gardens have all been scheduled for works over the coming weeks. With the Brighton Marathon imminent and closures planned across the city, the Council's traffic department has just released an update of the latest road works for the week commencing 14th March.
From the 15th March, the westbound carriageway on Western Road, at the junction with Regent Hill, will be out for approximately four days while a new gas connection is supplied.
On the 13th and 14th March, New Road will be closed to all traffic for the first Spring Harvest Festival in the city and continued repairs to the footpath in Kensington Gardens mean potential disruption until 9th April.
