Wired Sussex, the independent digital media support agency based in Brighton, has announced this week that Andrew Eades, founder and Executive Director of Relentless Software, has joined its Board.
The Wired Sussex Board guides the agency’s strategy and ensures that it delivers effective services to its member companies, helping to grow the reputation of the digital sector in Brighton and in the rest of Sussex.
Andrew founded Brighton-based Relentless Software with David Amor and has managed its growth from a small outfit to become one of the leading UK independent games developers. Relentless is consistently ranked in the Develop 100 list as one of the world’s most successful game studios and won a prestigious BAFTA in 2006.
Alex Morrison, Chair of Wired Sussex, commented “We are thrilled to have Andrew join the Board. Andrew has helped build Relentless into a world-class media company and he has consistently demonstrated a real commitment to supporting the growth of the whole sector locally. He joins a passionate group of people on the Board, all committed to Wired Sussex. Andrew’s experience of the games sector will compliment Wired Sussex’s already strong leadership”.
Andrew said “Brighton has a thriving, growing media community and has the potential to be a world class media hub. Having worked with Wired Sussex regularly, I recognise their dedication and commitment to that goal and to all their member companies. I was really happy to accept the invitation to join their Board” .
