Tourism Futures - the partnership which is supported by City College, Brighton & Hove City Council and many other hospitality and retail organisations within the city - is holding an event to celebrate the achievements of the project.
Tourism Futures provides training to the retail and tourism sectors in Brighton and Hove. The project funding from the regional development agency SEEDA is about to come to an end but additional funding has been sourced from the City Council and consequently courses can be offered at a discount or for free.'
Tourism Futures includes the following sectors: Hotels, Restaurants, Visitor Attractions and Retail. The Tourism Futures Group works together to provide the employers with a clear understanding of training and recruitment on offer in the city.
The purpose of the event in March will be to:
- Thank Tourism Futures employers for their involvement and commitment
- Celebrate the success of the project
- Look forward to the future opportunities for this project
- Networking with like minded businesses
The event, on 24th March between 5-7 pm at the Ramada Brighton Hotel, is FREE and anyone who is not currently a member of the Tourism Futures can join on the day.
