The organisers of Brighton Marathon are keen to engage with traders that might have questions about how they will be affected by the marathon and how they can capitalise from it.
The inaugural Brighton Marathon has a potential to attract 30,000 visitors into the city on Sunday April 18th to the benefit of hotels, restaurants and cafes but also the retail areas of London Road, Churchill Square, St James Street, George Street Hove and the Lanes and North Laine.
To work with all traders they have introduced a Website Voucher Scheme hoping this will help to drive footfall - and they are inviting any trader to an evening meeting at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on Thursday March 4th 2010 from 6.30pm.
The Race Director Tim Hutchings and his team will be presenting details about the route and the road closures and how this may change normal proceedings on Sunday April 18th.
If you would like to attend please email email@example.com to confirm your attendance and if you would also like to submit a question this will enable the team to address the most important issues of the day.
Please submit names and questions by Friday February 26th. Numbers will be accepted on a first come first served basis should interest be exceptionally high.
