The first ever 26.2 mile Marathon to hit the streets of Brighton is due to take place at 9am on Sunday 18th April 2010.
Some 10,000 runners will take part in this new event. The route will span the cultural quarter as well as the seafront allowing runners to take in the panoramic views of the South Downs and the sea.
The organisers are appealing to the Brighton and Hove Business community to encourage staff to take part by volunteering on the day.

This is also an opportunity for team building and skills development. The type of skills required are numerous and include people skills, communication skills, and ability to take instruction.
If you are interested please contact Brighton Marathon before January 31st 2010. Your staff will receive training for the day which will be provided in the run up to the race on April 18th .
