Brighton’s Cultural Quarter will once again set the scene for Christmas this month with the Christmas Crackers Market – an event organised by the Business Forum to promote the city and to offer a Christmas shopping experience in a traditional market atmosphere!
Festively decorated stalls set out in New Road and Jubilee Street on Saturday 28 November will be selling hot food, produce and gifts, from 10.30am until approximately 6pm.
Sussex producers, local restaurants and bars, and talented craft workers will be selling an array of both traditional and original delicatessen products, toys, household goods, clothing and accessories to tempt all shoppers.
Relax and stay for a few hours and enjoy a mouth-watering choice of high quality hot or cold meals and snacks, mulled Pimms, or hot chocolate and Baileys when the going gets tough!
There will be some traditional carols and other entertainment for all the family including the Salavation Army at 1pm and the Silver Sounds samba and percussion band between 2.30-3.15 pm. The grand finale will be the Theatre Royal Lights Switch On ceremony which will be after their matinee show at around 4.45pm.
Entry is free but you might like to come armed with plenty of cash to snap up those unusual Christmas gifts or delicious produce for your festive menus!
Stallholders interested in participating should contact Maddy Carr on Tel: 01273 735442, or e-mail to: maddy.carr@btconnect.
