Brighton & Hove City Council is preparing a Waste and Minerals Core Strategy jointly with East Sussex County Council. Businesses have 6 weeks, from 21st October to 2nd December 2009, to respond to the proposals.
The documents are:
- Waste and Minerals Core Strategy 'Preferred Strategy'
- Sustainability Appraisal of the Waste and Minerals Core Strategy Preferred Strategy
- A number of background and technical studies
The consultation documents, a Quick Reference Guide and all the supporting background studies are available to view, download and comment on online at the councils' joint consultation portal at: http://consult.eastsussex.gov.uk.
Printed copies are also available in the Jubilee (Brighton) and Hove libraries as well as Citydirect offices in Hove Town Hall and Bartholomew Square (Brighton).
An exhibition about the Waste and Minerals Core Strategy will also be on display at the Jubilee Library, Jubilee Street, Brighton from 16th to the 22nd November and also at Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove from 23rd to the 29th November 2009.
Comments should be submitted, preferably via the consultation portal or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Wednesday 2nd December 2009.
