Action Against Business Crime (AABC)  is an independent not-for-profit organisation working with Business Crime Reduction Partnerships (BCRPs), police, local authorities and other agencies across the UK to help businesses reduce the impact and cost of crime against them, their staff and the communities they trade in.

AABC have appointed Lisa Perretta to their Board because she has worked closely with a variety of local authorities and agencies since joining the Business Forum's BCRP in 2006, and has also been Chair of SBCGP, which represents Eastbourne, Crawley, Chichester, and Hastings, as well as Brighton and Hove, since March 2008. The aim of the SBCGP is to spread good practice in preventing crimes against businesses and reducing the fear of these crimes across Sussex.

Talking about her recent appointment, Lisa said: “I am honoured to be offered this position and feel it will be a real benefit to have a Crime Reduction Manager on the Board with operational experience. This will maximise the support that AABC can offer to Business Crime Reduction Partnerships”.

The AABC is committed to protecting businesses from the risk of burglary and robbery, representing the interests of BCRPs, and seeking to expand its influence and work in this particular field.

Membership of AABC is open to all BCRPs which have achieved the Safer Business Award or are actively working towards this nationally recognised standard.

Lisa will be attending her first Board Meeting of the AABC on 16 September, and further details will be available on this website to update members after the meeting.
