The Sussex and the Rest of the World Food and Drink Festival Market will be returning to Hove Lawns to delight food lovers from around Sussex on Saturday and Sunday 26 and 27 September 2009.
Last year’s market was a great success providing showcasing opportunities for local producers and restaurateurs, and bringing food loving visitors flooding in to the city. A range of international snacks, meals, beers and cocktails were on offer including German sausages, Japanese desserts, Indian and African hot food, Spanish sherry and very indulgent Norwegian waffles!
The Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival is now in its 6th year, and the Brighton and Hove Business Forum are building on last year’s successes to bring the international market back to Hove to round off a month of great food and drink events.
Other key events throughout September include the main Festival Market in New Road, Fiery Food Festival in Victoria Gardens, and a Farmers market in Jubilee Square. Details of these plus other fringe events can be found on the official festival website: http://www.brightonfoodfestival.co.uk/main_events.php and will also be promoted through Brighton Visitor magazine.
Sussex – and the Rest of the World is being organised by the Business and Hove Business Forum and will be taking place on Hove Lawns by the Peace Statue from 10am to 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday 26 and 27 September.
Stallholders wishing to take part in this event should contact Assistant City Centre Manager, Maddy Carr, on 01273 735442 or e-mail email@example.com.
