The hugely successful networking event was organised by HBA Vice Chair Jill Humphrey who has created a great events calendar for 2009/10 to get Hove's businesses more connected.  Jill said, 'It was a fantastic event, there was a real buzz in the air and everyone was enjoying themselves....and the cricket was great too.'

Businesses were welcomed with a chilled glass of Pimms and the afternoon kicked off with an introduction by SCCC Chairman Jim May.   Jim gave a fascinating insight in to the future plans and events for the ground, highlighting the club’s commitment to further involvement with the local business community.

After an opportunity to network, guests where treated to a splendid lunch accompanied by a selection of excellent wines.  And to help it all go down, some very enjoyable cricket.

If the lunch wasn’t enough, during the break attendees sampled some delicious strawberries and cream, cakes, tea and coffee.

A great afternoon was enjoyed by all and at £30 per person one happy guest said it was,'The best value for money entertainment I’ve had for ages'.

HBA is looking forward to doing it all again next year.
