After a spate of thefts, Peter Marsh has been banned from city centre shops and car parks after the BCRP collected sufficient evidence to justify an exclusion notice which was served by Sussex Police.
Peter Marsh of Findon Road, Whitehawk, was handed the Exclusion Notice by police investigating a series of crimes in central Brighton including breaking into an unmarked police car parked in a car park in North Road.
Also known as Peter Taylor, he also stole Sat Nav systems, cash & disabled badges. He is now barred from BCRP members in Western Road, North Street, London Road, The Lanes & North Laine, George Street Hove and parts of Portslade.
The civil action was taken by businesses involved in the Business Crime Reduction Partnership. The Exclusion lasts until June 30th 2010. If he breaches the ban, he stands to be prosecuted for trespassing and such continued anti- social behaviour could result in an Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO).
