Stratford is the latest in a string of Business Improvement District success stories which demonstrate that businesses are helping themselves to beat the recession.
The turnout for the ballot was just 35% but the enthusiasm was strong with 72% voting 'yes' representing 69% of the total ratable value.
The Stratford BID is part of the Warwickshire BIDs programme, which is funded by Warwickshire County Council and delivered by The Mosaic Partnership. There are now three BIDs in Warwickshire - Rugby, Leamington Spa and Stratford.
