Footfall figures from w/c 23 March 2009, available to download here for free, show little change in the count from last week with a total of 249,724 and a slight reduction from the same week in 2008.
The cumulative weekly total (the average footfall for the first weeks of 2009 compared to those of 2008) is still up by 1.8%, adding to other city data which suggests that Brighton is bucking the national decline.
A weekly high of 52,789 was recorded on Saturday 28th March.
