Hove’s new event, The Military Show 2009, has already attracted the attention of local media, and is offering businesses the perfect dual opportunity: to associate your company with a new and highly newsworthy tourist attraction, whilst promoting your brand.
The Military event on Hove Lawns has been organised by Maddy Carr from the Brighton and Hove Business Forum, together with Hove’s Town Centre Manager, Gavin Stewart, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Visitors to the city can expect a real treat with a whole day of free entertainment and nostalgia combined with the opportunity to snap up collectables from the 1940’s.
However, funds are needed to ensure that the event is a real showstopper – and that it is weather proofed to withstand the worst that a May Day can offer!
The Hove Business Partnership has already stepped forward to provide some of the event infrastructure, and the organisers would welcome hearing from other like-minded organisations and businesses.
If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, but would like to know more about the show, please contact Maddy Carr (Tel: 01273 735442) or Gavin Stewart (Tel: 01273 410251). Leaflets will be available shortly for residents and visitors from Brighton’s Visitor Information Centre in Pavilion Buildings, Brighton, and details of the day’s “line-up” can also be obtained by e-mail from firstname.lastname@example.org.
