Park House planning rejected

Proposals for a new development of 72 apartments on the site of the former Bellerby’s College on the Old Shoreham Road in Hove have been rejected by the City Council Planning Committee.

Developer Hyde-Martlett’s proposals incuded the demolition of the existing 1930’s building situated between Hove Park and Hove recreation ground and replacement with new housing some 45% of which would have been affordable.
