Midnight Communications, one of the leading PR companies in the South East, has acquired the rights to both the Sussex and Surrey Business Awards with immediate effect.
Midnight Communications has been running the successful Brighton and Hove Business awards – the BAHBAs - for the last five years.
The Surrey Awards are due to be staged at the Sandown Race course on 2 April 2009.
“I have always felt there has been room for two major award schemes in the Sussex area and I am delighted to now have the opportunity to bring some of the pizzazz of the BAHBAs to re-energise the Sussex and Surrey products,” says Midnight’s founder Caraline Brown.
Midnight has extensive experience of developing, managing, co-coordinating and promoting award schemes. Its dedicated awards division, Winnerz, has provided consultancy and promotional activity to organisations such as the Digital Media Awards South (the DIMAs), Farmer’s Weekly Awards, Caterer& Hotel Keeper Awards, the CIPR PRIDE Awards and the UK Supplement Awards.
Its BAHBA initiative won Gold for Best Event at last year’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRIDE awards. Caraline Brown is currently a member of the Fresh Awards judging team.
