European funding for tourism
European funding is being used to launch a project called Collabor8. The money comes from the European Union’s Interreg 4B programme, which was established to support partnerships across Northwest Europe.
The South Downs joint committee, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Merthyr Tydfil County Borogh Council and The West Country Rivers Trust together with others from Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands are all partners. Businesses in Brighton’s tourism sector can apply for a share of the pot.
The money is being given to organisations that can come up with ways to increase activity tourism, develop local food projects and gain green accreditation by working together.
If you want to learn more about the project send an email to email@example.com
