The winners of the 2008 Digital Media Awards: South were announced at an evening ceremony on November 27th in the neo-gothic splendour of All Saint’s Church, Hove.
The awards run by Wired Sussex and sponsored by The Argus and regional development agency SEEDA were presented to recognise and reward passion, creativity and business genius in the digital media sector in the south of England.
Around 95 companies and individuals submitted over 140 entries, which were thoroughly examined, honestly appraised and voted on by a panel of judges.
The winners announced at the Awards night are:

Digital Collaboration - Blast Theory

User Experience - Cogapp with The British Museum
Breakthrough Business - FATDrop
Best in E-Learning - Brightwave - for Virgin
Gamesindustry.biz games studio of the year - Black Rock
Farm Freelancer of the Year - Bevan Stephens
The SCIP Award: Technology for Good - Wii Can Do It: Age Concern
