City tourism body launches new website for visitors
Brighton has been given a makeover…online.
VisitBrighton, the official tourism marketing body for Brighton & Hove and part of Brighton & Hove City Council, has re-launched its website www.visitbrighton.com, with a series of enhancements to assist visitors to the city.
The centre piece of the new website is a section where visitors can explore ideas and suggestions to suit all tastes and pockets. ‘Your Brighton’ includes tailored information covering family, budget, luxury, gay, green, culture, heritage and celebrations.
www.visitbrighton.com, now offers new search options; an improved online booking system for accommodation, restaurants and attractions; a ‘create your own itinerary’ option, plus new content in the innovative ‘Your Brighton’ section.
The visitbrighton.com site is comprehensive and offers a wide range of accommodation and activity options plus special offers. From two for one tickets to the Sea Life Centre and three nights for the price of two in boutique hotels, to a personalised itinerary including sights and experiences tailored to individual visitor needs.
“Having recently been named the most continental city in the UK, we now have a new-look site with a completely fresh design to reflect this image and Brighton as a creative, European, energetic and free.” said VisitBrighton Marketing Manager, John Carmichael.
“The internet is an increasingly important part of the decision making process and our new website meets the needs of visitors to the city providing a resource that is not only informative but inspiring - ensuring that they get the most from their stay.”
