Traders have bounced back from the disappointment of having to cancel the Unique Brighton Autumn Winter Fashion Show (originally planned for 31 August). The show has now been filmed in a studio and will be projected larger than life onto the side of the Lloyd's Bank at the bottom of North Street in Brighton.
Thanks to some sophisticated software and equipment from City Dressing, a leading supplier of temporary infrastructure to transform public places and a little bit of imagination from the organisers the show will go on.
Says city centre manager, Soozie Campbell, “We were determined not to be beaten by the British climate. And as a result we have put together a show that promises to be even more impressive than the original live catwalk.
“We will also be able to run it on a loop so more people will be able to see it throughout the evening.”
The show will run on Friday 26 September from 6.00pm till late.
Traders taking part include:
- All That Glitters – Meeting House Lane
- Badger – Bond Street
- Benetton – North Street

Soozie Campbell adds, “ A lot of people have worked really hard behind the scenes to pull this event together especially the Rush hair stylists who spent many hours cutting and styling and then re-styling after the rain and Zena McCarthy who also worked overtime on the make-up.
The models were treated to a wholesome lunch to keep them fit and healthy thanks to sponsorship from the Bagelman.
