Hove is hosting its first Food and Drink Festival event in September on Hove Lawns, bringing showcasing opportunities to local producers and restaurateurs.
The Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival is now in its 5th year, and the Business Forum were invited by its directors to organise Sussex - and the rest of the World – Hove’s first outdoor festival event.
The popular Authentic French Market will be there promoting French produce – but Sussex have come forward to give them a run for their money with goodies ranging from Sussex wines and beers, sauces. Pickles and other condiments, to homemade ice cream and chocolate.
The ‘Rest of the World’ will include stalls selling Japanese desserts, Indian and African hot food, Spanish sherry and Norwegian waffles!
Local restaurant Pintxo People aim to tempt the hungry crowds with Spanish dishes and sensational cocktails.
The event, run in partnership with New Era Associates will be on Hove Lawns by the Peace Statue from 10am to 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday 27/28th September.
