3000+ jobs safeguarded with American Express decision

Brighton & Hove largest private sector employer has announced plans to build a new 35,000 square metre office complex on land behind their existing headquarters in Edward Street.

A planning application is expected to be submitted to the local authority in autumn of 2009. This will make the Brighton office the thrid largest Amex location in the world.

James Crotty – Head of Amex pan-European customer services – said, “American Express is strongly committed to investing in growing its business and in investing in its service delivery centres to best meet the needs of its customers around the world.”
