Unique Brighton’s fashion businesses have come together to put on a spectacular fashion show in East Street on Sunday 31 August. And it will be free to the public.
It will be a great family day out and the entertainment includes a performance from juggler Max Oddball and break dancing from The Juice Dance Crew.
City Centre manager, Soozie Campbell comments, “This is a great example of the synergy that can be created by businesses pooling resource in order to do something that is so much more than any of them could do alone. It also provides great entertainment for the public. And the Business Improvement District has made this possible.
“By building a reputation for great street events we can keep pulling people back into Brighton again and again.”
The fashion show will focus on Autumn/Winter 2008 men's and women's wear. It will be divided into three sets showing Day Wear, Work Wear and Evening Wear. The following retailers will be showing their new ranges for Autumn:
The models' hair will be cut and styled by Rush and make-up artist Zena McCarthy will work her special kind of magic with make-up to create the strong bold look that will be very much in vogue this winter.
A display of umbrellas from Friends for Leather may prove to be more functional than decorative or with luck the sun glasses on show from David Clulow may prove to be more fitting for the occasion.
And finally when the show is all over The Bagelman will make sure the models don't go hungry or drop to size zero by providing each of them with a bagel and a drink.
