Do you think your business needs a website or could your current site do with updating? If the answer is yes, but you don’t know who to ask then Wired Sussex can help.
Wired Sussex has launched an online service called the Projects Board (www.wiredsussex.com/projectsboard). It is a free posting service which is designed to encourage non-media businesses of any size to post a brief for either creating a website to support their business or updating one they already have (maybe, for instance, to include e-commerce).
Wired Sussex will also provide free advice on writing a brief. The new service is a simple way for businesses to invite pitches from a number of the right web companies for their project.
The Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce, who used the Projects Board recently said: “We had an excellent response to our brief … we would recommend the service to others."
Luke Hay at Wired Sussex said: "We have some of the best web companies in the UK here on our doorstep and this is about businesses in the area being able to access that talent, rather than taking pot luck via the yellow pages or wasting precious time speaking to bigger and often inappropriate web studios.”
