The City Council and the Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership have jointly revised the tourism strategy for the city in the light of changing times and changing circumstances.
Currently valued at over £407m, the Tourism Economy has to grow in real terms to the benefit of the City and its residents. But with nearly 60% of that money coming from just 17% of our visitors, we have to be focussed and targeted on attracting visitors that truly benefit the local area.
The revised and refreshed strategy covering the period 2008 to 2018 provides a roadmap for the guidance of businesses, communities, public sector and regional and national agencies engaged in positively shaping the development of Brighton & Hove as a destination.
