From Tuesday 4 December the National Express, Megabus and Stagecoach services that currently use Pool Valley will operate instead from the Old Steine. Pedestrian access will not be affected and vehicles will still be able to use Pool valley to load and unload and access the casino car park.
The £350,000 improvement scheme has been designed to improve the safety and character of the area, while making it easier for pedestrians to find their way to and form the coach terminal, just off the seafront near the Palace Pier.
The scheme will be enhanced with a new ticket office, waiting room and toilets to be designed, built and funded by National Express.
Work on the scheme will begin next week and will be completed by early summer.
