The annual free music festival Brighton Live starts its programme of events today, bringing bands, promoters, labels and music industry professionals together, to showcase more than 250 bands across the city.
Brighton Live 2007 will be holding over 100 free gigs across the city from Monday 24 September to Saturday 29 September, not only at the leading live music venues but also at pubs, clubs and cafes, a church in the city centre, and a cinema!
Brighton Music Network members can buy a Festival Club/Q jump pass at Above Audio tonight any time between 6-8pm. Ten percent of sales go to Brighton Music Network who are putting on FREE seminars each day, including Writing the Killer Business Plan and Music Rights Management.
On Tuesday 25 September, a day-long workshop on raising finance will give SME’s in the South East a chance to get a step up the ladder. This free event has been organized by the South East Media Network, working in collaboration with the Brighton Music Network and The Production Guild.
