The 5th Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival comes to the city centre this weekend with a market extravaganza promoting the best of Sussex produce and top city restaurants, alongside the launch of the first Sussex Beer and Wine Festival.
The Taste of Sussex Market will be held in New Road on Saturday and Sunday the 8th & 9th of September, complemented by a Live Food Show in the Pavilion Gardens which will include free chef’s demonstrations from many of the best restaurants in the City.
If the thought of all this food makes you thirsty, then head for Fabrica in Duke Street where the Sussex Beer & Wine Festival will be offering tastings of the best in wines, ciders and beers.
Also new for this year is the Children’s Food Festival in the Pavilion Gardens with cookery workshops, story-telling costumed vegetables, a smoothie-making bike and a food fight finale!
The Festival runs throughout the month of September and details of all events, sponsors and supporters can be found on www.brightonfoodfestival.co.uk .
