Brighton Art Fair 2007 to be held at the Corn Exchange from 27-30 September has attracted more high calibre artists than ever before and organisers say "This years fair looks to be the best yet!"
Now in its fourth year the Brighton Art Fair is the largest single visual art exhibition on the South Coast. Around 150 painters, printmakers, photographers and sculptors have been selected to participate in this popular event after a rigorous and competitive selection process, and last year around 5,500 visitors passed through its doors.
Organisers, Jon Tutton and Sarah Young commented: “This year’s fair looks to be the best yet – the standard of applicants has been higher than ever, and regrettably we have had to turn away two thirds of these due to lack of space! Brighton has a large number of incredible artists and we are pleased that many exhibit with us... the visitors love the quality and variety of the work and enjoy the relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere of the show.”
A preview evening launches the event on Thursday 27 September from 6pm-8.30pm and there are some tickets available for members of the public priced at £10 each. Tickets for Friday 28th to Sunday 30th September cost £5 each and can be booked in advance from www.brightonartfair.co.uk or on the door. Entrance (from 10am daily) includes a detailed brochure of the artists and work on offer.
