Economic Partnership Climate Change event
The Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership hosted a Climate Change event at The Grand Hotel last night for businesses to learn about ways to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and also save money.
Just under a hundred people attended the event, which included workshops to offer practical advice about tackling climate change. Businesses were divided into two groups depending upon their annual energy usage and were led by the Carbon Trust, Ecosys and Business Link Sussex
Attendees also participated in a question and answer session designed to identify attitudes to climate change and potential future developments and legislation. The results of this session will be reported shortly.
The event was sponsored by the regional development agency – SEEDA – and Brighton & Hove City Council.
